What was the scope of the project involved?
To migrate my website from Adobe Business Catalyst to Drupal. To build a secure member's login zone to which users purchase a membership password, and HTML5 audio players, which function on both web and mobile devices. To build an admin control panel on Drupal for me to manage the website contents on an ongoing basis. Then to work on the SEO of the website.
How did Dotsquares meet your requirements?
I went to Dotsquares looking to rebuild my thevoicecafe.net on the Drupal platform. The Voice Cafe is a large audio English learning resource website with a membership subscription area. Throughout the process Dotsquares and the team were great to communicate with, were very fast to respond to queries and always found creative solutions to problems that came up along the way. Now that the new website launched, I can say that I am thrilled to bits with the result, and am looking forward to continuing working with Dotsquares in the future. Nisha is now working on the SEO and I am already noticing the benefits coming back. Initially a colleague of mine had highly recommended Dotsquares to me and I have to say, they have completely lived up to my expectations.

What was the scope of the project involved?
The project code name "JACS", It involves an ipad data capturing application with drawing color editing feature. Also a PC web admin for managers to set up new jobs and generate relevant reports on the CNC production data. A MS SQL was setup on server to manage all the daily data in the database and reporting.
How did Dotsquares meet your requirements?
Our project scope was defined well with the Dotsquare team in the beginning and only one week of variation out of 7 weeks baseline had incurred which was excellent. DS provides daily updates on the progress of the project through the DS portal and emails. This is important for keeping up todate what was going on in the project. Skype was used well for weekly communication// updates. From IPI perspective, communication with DS was made easy with just one single contact. Most significant was the promptness in review and replies from DS to IPI's questions and comments to ensure issues were resolved promptly. The technical breakthrough was the drawing editing feature in the ipad application. Other apps were designed well to suit the IPI users. IPI Management was impressed with DS abillity to complete a project of this nature and hence they are considering using DS for subsequent phase of JACS and a new project to be planned soon. Only feedback to DS is the thoroughness in software assurance as there were quite a few bugs were uncovered during the validation of data capturing and reporting functionalities. Hope DS can further improve on this area as this would help reduce the overall project cycle time.

We could see good teamwork in DS that has helped us achieved our milestone of releasing the JACs officially on 1 March 2018. We value the project management, technical expertise and knowledge of the DS team in meeting IPI requirements. Also we value the competitive costs of software development which has provided IPI's new venue for deploying software technology. IPI is a small and medium size enterprise with limited resources and such value proposition from DS is important to IPI's success. We look foward to continue to work with DS on future projects to help us realise full potential of technology deployment in our company.
