The objective of this project is to enhance the APUK Power App by introducing a flexible Include/Exclude toggle mechanism at the child SKU level, enabling users to control how individual SKUs contribute to common application calculations. This functionality improves the accuracy and relevance of results through dynamic, real-time recalculation, allowing users to efficiently analyze different SKU combinations and derive meaningful insights. Additionally, the project incorporates a controlled data import mechanism, where users can upload Excel/CSV files as the primary data source, while restricting manual data entry to ensure consistency and data integrity. The solution also strengthens system reliability through robust validation and error handling for mixed selections, missing data, and no-result scenarios. Overall, the objective is to reduce manual effort, enhance decision-making speed, and deliver a scalable, user-centric solution aligned with evolving business needs.

The Challenge

  • Limited Control Over SKU Selection Logic
    Users were unable to selectively include or exclude child SKUs in the application calculation process.
