Material Harbor is an innovative B2B marketplace founded by industry professionals with deep experience in aviation manufacturing and supply chain operations. Material Harbor aimed to transform its platform into a scalable, high-performance B2B marketplace capable of handling complex material search and supplier discovery. The key challenge was to build a custom WordPress solution that could support advanced, real-time search functionality while maintaining speed and usability. 

Integrating subscription-based access using MemberPress and secure payment processing via Stripe added further complexity. Additionally, the platform needed a robust MySQL-backed data structure to manage large volumes of materials, companies, and user data efficiently. Ensuring a fully mobile-responsive design across devices, while delivering a seamless user experience for both free and premium users, required careful planning and execution. The goal was to balance flexibility, performance, and scalability within a custom WordPress theme architecture.

To address these challenges, we developed a fully customized WordPress solution tailored to Material Harbor’s business model and scalability needs. A lightweight custom theme was built to ensure optimal performance, flexibility, and a clean user experience across all devices. For subscription management, the MemberPress plugin was seamlessly integrated, allowing differentiated access between free and premium users. Stripe was configured for secure and automated payment processing, ensuring a smooth subscription workflow.

Additionally, the platform was developed with a fully mobile-responsive design, ensuring consistent performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The admin panel was optimized for easy content, user, and data management, enabling the client to scale operations efficiently without technical dependency.
