By leveraging the existing Shopify infrastructure, the solution delivers a consistent shopping experience across web and mobile while maintaining the same products, configurations, and store management system.

Urban Culture is a UK-based fashion brand specialising in women’s modest wear and Islamic clothing. With a strong online presence through Shopify, the client wanted to expand into mobile commerce to provide customers with faster access to exclusive collections, improve mobile engagement, and deliver a more personalised shopping experience without changing their existing store operations.

Urban Culture already had a fully functional Shopify e-commerce store but needed a dedicated mobile app without duplicating backend management or altering workflows. The challenge was to transform the existing store into a mobile-first experience while keeping all inventory, pricing, content, and configurations synced in real time. The solution had to ensure consistency across platforms, minimise operational changes, and maintain Shopify as the single source of truth.
We developed a React Native mobile application fully integrated with the existing Shopify store, using the same product database, categories, configurations, and checkout workflows. The app mirrors the web store while optimising the user experience for mobile devices, allowing customers to browse collections, discover exclusive modest fashion pieces, and make purchases seamlessly. Because the app connects directly to Shopify, the Urban Culture team continues managing products, orders, and content from their existing admin panel—without needing a separate system.
