Client Background
Dr Max Schreder is the owner of SCHREDER Consulting, and he holds a doctorate in Business Administration.
He has in-depth knowledge and personal education of the risks and opportunities of the meat processing industry, which was manifested at an early stage, as a grandson to a traditional butcher's shop.
Since 2018 he has primarily worked as a consultant for a Bavarian craft business, on many aspects that fall under corporate management.
Due to this, Dr Max Schreder approached us with a digital concept that he felt so passionate about, in the hope that we could make it a reality.
Why did the client come to Dotsquares?
Dr Max Schreder came to Dotsquares in 2019 for app development after he spotted a noticeable gap in the meat market. The concept was to create an app so that customers could have a bespoke click and collect solution for their local butcher shop. If successful, this could then be part of a bigger plan for other butcher shop owners to also use the same technology.
Solution Delivered
Our experts here at Dotsquares used a Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) to build a click and collect app for Dr Schreder, which was then provided to the local butcher shop, on a subscription-based service via a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. Using Kotlin on Android along with Swift on IoS, we were able to deliver Dr Schreder's concept, which shortly followed with a PHP and Laravel based website, to be able to explain to butcher shop owners, the features and functionality of the app, in order to help them maximise their revenue.

Results
Since creating a single application in 2019, we have gone on to create more than 100 versions of this white-labelled app for SCHREDER Consulting Bahnhofstr, all of which can be found on the App and Play Stores.
There are now also 25,000+ customers registered to these apps with customers using the applications regularly.
The relationship between Dotsquares and Dr Max Schreder continues to grow, as more ideas evolve with new levels to take the business.
