September was a glorious month for Dotsquares. Our CEO, Bankim Chandra has been honoured and recognised by Asian Achievers Awards and has won their prestigious Special Entrepreneurship and Innovation award for 2022.
A fantastic awards ceremony was attended by luminaries including Dame Arlene Foster DBE PC (Former First Minister of Northern Ireland), Subaskaran Allirajah, Founder and Chairman, Lyca and lead researcher for the COVID vaccine, Maheshi Ramasamy from the Oxford Vaccine Group. The evening was hosted by EastEnders actor, Nitin Ganatra OBE and Netflix documentary maker and former Khatron Ka Khiladi star - Deana Uppal.
Dotsquares staff, along with family and friends attended the ceremony to support Bankim collecting his award. And of course, to enjoy a great night out!
The award is a fantastic recognition for Bankim for the way he has led Dotsquares for the past 20 years, providing inspiration and direction not only within his own company but also within the India diaspora in the UK and for being a constant voice in the promotion of both countries. It is by taking bold decisions to concentrate on technologies such as Java for mobile, Augmented Reality (AR) / Virtual reality (VR) and gamification for businesses that facilitated Dotsquares growth. Supported by all the amazing people at Dotsquares, from Business Analysts to the Developers and Project Managers, right through to our fantastic Accounts Team and of course the Senior Management Team, all have been working together, crystallised in this award. It is through all the team work with the same end goal that allows us to make a difference for our clients.
However, it is not only on the technical side that Bankim is being celebrated for. Through careful guidance and stewardship Dotsquares now has great programs around sustainability and social responsibility. From overseeing tree planting to sustainable building practices being employed in the construction of our new Development Centre, these are core principles of the governance shown. Indeed, by always committing to the Dotsquares values of Integrity, Authenticity, Responsibility, Innovation, Teamwork & Enrichment Dotsquares has been able to reach the heights it has and look even higher!
