Dotsquares were approached by one of our clients earlier this year in August 2021 in the hope to build a bespoke event app for
The Arnold Sports Festival, which is the largest multi-sports festival across the world. Originally founded in 1989 by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Lorimer.
The festival has over 60,000 attendees, 5,000 competitors, and over 25 sports and disciplines which is why it’s so popular.
The app we developed included a sporting event timetable so that users can see what events are happening and at which points in the day. There’s also a feature to see the floor plan so that users can figure out where the events are taking place, and additionally, we helped them to create a “Meet Your Heros” section, where attendees can see who out of their idols will be at the event which includes sporting legends from all over the world.
This week we were informed by our client that with a surge in downloads the Arnold Sports Festival UK app hit the fourth position in the app charts.
