The new Surface PC series now comes with advanced features and new designs. Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 2 now comes in a range of colours including platinum, burgundy, cobalt blue, graphite gold, and the colour that really stood out to people, Black. Though Microsoft 10’s latest update 1089, had a good amount of media attention, some of its features still missed the highlights. Microsoft took this event as an opportunity to show off these overlooked features as well. Below are listed the major features of the operating system, the firm announced on the day-

  • Your Phone App: That will allow you to synchronise your mobile phone with your PC.
  • Timeline: It will allow you to sift through the projects you have previously worked on.
  • Inking and 3D: It transforms hand-drawn sketches into perfectly formatted slides.

After the failed attempt to boost the adoption rates of Microsoft Edge, Microsoft has finally done something right for the promotion of the software, too, during the event. It was clearly laid out that whilst the browser has all the features that the other prominent browsers at present have, there are some specific features which none of the other browsers have. Marketing-done-right indeed! Here is a list of the prominent features of the browser that Microsoft has shown off-

  • Line Focus
  • Grammar Tool
  • Offline Dictionary

Microsoft also announced the launch of the Office 2019 suite, which has most of the features that Office 365 users were already enjoying. In fact, Office 365 itself has received some major updates, making this subscription-based service more enticing for the users. Some of the more exciting features of the tool include new proofreading, 3D graphics, and animation tools in PowerPoint, speedy lookup tools in Excel, and new ribbon looks in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
