As we enter a new era of digital technology, the competition in the field is becoming more and more saturated every day. To be able to provide the latest innovations to our clients and their consumers can often be challenging, especially when other organisations with similar synergies are doing the same.

This year we have used our creative minds as a collective, to go above and beyond our usual boundaries, to provide a service that sets us apart from the competition. By consistently being able to have excellent design and development from India and project managers in the UK, we are able to keep the development process simple for our clients, and also cost effective.

EMBRACING NEW TECHNOLOGY

Here at Dotsquares we like to go the extra mile, to not only support our clients on their projects, but also inspire them to stay at the forefront of their competition. As the evangelists of Augmented Reality, we created a new AR APP to showcase to both our clients and new business contacts, how they can enhance their products and services. The app uses specific targets within our brand logo to showcase an augmented version of the services we provide. As a demo we used such targets on branded t-shirts and our exhibition stands at three exhibitions this year, and the reactions we were getting were simply amazing! 

OUR SUCCESS STORIES

We are a Gartner Recommended Vendor which is a huge achievement in our eyes to be on The Gartner Digital Commerce Vendor Guide 2018. This sort of recognition is not only great for business it is also great for staff morale, the staff can see the results of all of their hard work. We also managed to enter the Guinness Book of World Records alongside Fujitsu when we created the largest animated tablet computer mosaic. The goal was to set a Guinness World Record by running a single video on 220 windows tablets simultaneously like a mosaic – no one has tried this before. Dotsquares provided the technology solution and support which includes a client app (220 tablets run this) and a master application (just one master tablet).

THE FUTURE OF DOTSQUARES

In terms of future technology, more resources have gone into nurturing the talent coming through our training academy, where our employees are given hands on training from experts in the field.

We are further enhancing our gaming division as we see a lot of potential in games being used not just for entertainment, but also through gamification. This internally helps companies to keep their staff engaged, whilst using fun methods to help improve their employee’s performance, so that everyone can work in a stress free environment.

This year our efforts have been recognised so much so that we are creative digital finalists at this year’s Sussex Business Awards. This is not only a huge achievement for our teams, but also a significant milestone in the growth of the company.
