This is why we think it’s highly important to give back to the community, especially when future decisions lie on the shoulders of the next generation.

Over the years we have supported local charities, young entrepreneurs and now we are turning our heads to the world of sport, by becoming corporate sponsors of Sussex County Cricket Club! Known for being the oldest club in the world formed back in 1839, Sussex has hosted a range of international teams and top ranking players. Sussex have also had their fair share of touring and in recent years have played matches against India, Australia, West Indies, Pakistan, Bangladesh and South Africa.

This week Dotsquares CEO Bankim Chandra had the pleasure of attending a networking lunch along with many other corporate sponsors. This gave him the opportunity to meet the other sponsors, the Sussex Cricket team themselves, and the new Sussex Coach Australian bowler Jason Gillespie.

Jason made his first test appearance against the West Indies back in 1996 in Sydney, and also had his One Day International debut in the same year, against Sri Lanka in the World Series. During his prime Gillespie played for South Australia, Glamorgan and Yorkshire, before retiring from first-class cricket at the end of the British Season in 2008.

At the networking event this week Gillespie took time to introduce himself to all the corporate sponsors including CEO Bankim Chandra who quoted “I think Jason is a good find for Sussex and will take us to new heights”.

After joining a diverse business community, meeting the team and coach Gillespie, we have high hopes for Sussex, and are proud to be official corporate sponsors of such and elite squad!
