What was the scope of the project involved?

The app is a back-end business management app to manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business, covering office staff, customer management & communications via email & sms, and field staff working on site. It is a very dynamic business with complex procedures and business flows, operated by a wide range of personnel with very different needs and technical capabilities. The app is a Django web-based app written in Python.

How did Dotsquares meet your requirements?

Dotsquares have supplied us with 4 developers led by Vinay Kumar Jain, their team manager. They came onboard when the project was already underway and have been continuously developing new tasks and improving the existing ones since. It has been invaluable to have Vinay to coordinate and act as the intermediary between myself and the developers. They have been consistent in their speed and reactivity to change. Vinay is extremely good at understanding the problems and issues of the project, and often knows the system better than I do. The team is quick and efficient and good at finding solutions to technical problems, and are happy to contribute to ideas and solutions. Vinay will also say if he thinks a chosen solution may not work optimally or will not achieve the desired result. His communication skills are excellent.

It is great to have very clear communication with the project manager, where I know I will be understood, and that Vinay will always make sure ideas are clarified before starting work. This saves us a lot of time, effort and money. Vinay is also always available and very quick to answer and come up with solutions. Lead time for tasks is always short but not rushed.

Designing animated videos is a complicated task, it is also time and money consuming. I personally had underestimated all those factors before I started a project of designing 10 animated videos with Dotsquare team India. However, Udit, the project manager who took things in hand, have made things possible to deliver my project in an excellent manner, and with respect to my budget goals.

What was the scope of the project involved?

I heard about Dotsquare online while I was doing a research to find a software company that can help make my project idea a reality. I have selected and contacted over five companies to try to find the right and most affordable candidate to develop a software, Dotsquare was one. From all the companies I have contacted, Dotsquare is the one who showed more interest to my project.

All the software companies I have contacted were responsive and all of them showed their interests to help on my project of designing the software. I had to discuss the project details, how I wanted the design, and pricing with all the companies I have contacted. Dotsquare was the only one who assigned one of their most talented managers (Varun) to discuss the details. Even the CEO was available to respond to my questions when the necessity came. What attracted me the most was how curious Varun was to know more about my idea, how I came out with it, what level of expertise I have on the subject, and what were my goals in building the software. I though It was very important that Varun had to know every detail that I could think of about my project, and this made sense to me.
