What was the scope of the project involved?

Fully functioning marketplace with several integrations, front end with React JS and back end with Node JS.

There was a fair bit of delay on the full development per scope but the final product was delivered as per scope and we were pleased to sign off. My only constructive feedback would be to empower the team to provide techincal recommendations based on market best practice to clients for options rather than always seeking "what client wants."

The project team and their communication was outstanding. I would like to commend especially Ankit Ajmera who led the team despite the challenges and pressure. He was always available and courteous when addressing each point. When faced with difficulties the escalation and the response was to be commended too. This is what distinguishes from a large organisation to a small one, whereby this level of support does not exist.

What was the scope of the project involved?

PWA App build with map functionality

How did Dotsquares meet your requirements?

I felt there was not enough testing originally performed against the designs when we first received the site. There were a lot of bugs we had to address but it was also very hard to understand from the designs exactly what the client required. We all had to make a lot of assumptions. Through the bug fixing process there were times when the bug was marked as fixed but it still wasn't working. This was partly due to a misunderstanding of the issue. What worked well was when Pradeep and I started to communicate through phone calls and Whats app. It allowed me to talk through the issue so it was clear and then the bug fixing was improved. My advice is to talk to the client when ever possible as it builds a relationship and is much more efficient.

What do you value about Dotsquares?

Even though this was a very hard project for all of us Dot Squares were committed all the way through to ensure my client was happy with the PWA app. I appreciate your commitment and all the hard work including late nights and weekends. Good luck with the remaining apps.

WhyAddicted.com is a new, independent and ground breaking venture operating commercially and charitably in the rapidly growing Addiction Recovery sector.

What was the scope of the project involved?

Produce a new website that was a Progressive Web Application. Create a Content Management System so that all content will be manageable through a back end admin user. Design Home page of website as per the design PSD received and inner pages to be designed as per the 2nd design PSD received. All CMS pages to be SEO friendly and admin will be able to add URL slugs, H1 & H2 tags, Meta tag and descriptions.

How did Dotsquares meet your requirements?

Overall they did an excellent job. As is usual with projects like this, our requirements evolved to an extent as our understanding of the art of the possible evolved, along with seeing how the pages developed and the functionality of the CMS developed. Essentially this was a RAD style development, as we did not start with detailed requirements or system specifications, but it worked very well. There were a couple of occasions when work was agreed to be "out of scope" and additional funding had to be made available, but I was very happy with the willingness to make changes to satisfy our evolving requirements without argument. Slack seemed to work well to enable the detailed cooperation, exchange of information and conference calls that were necessary. Essentially the project was delivered to budget and on time (including the agreed additional work) and we are delighted with the result. There are some areas that I would work to improve next time, largely around test planning and test results and the go live process (but in the end that proved to be more complex than anyone had anticipated). Defect correction was swiftly carried out, which again was excellent.

Value for money is excellent. Willingness to make changes to satisfy our evolving requirements without argument, except for when it was quite clear that work was "out of scope". Timely responsiveness.

What was the scope of the project involved?

The brief was to create an environment where customers/patients can order their prescriptions via a website or mobile app, this order request must allow us to see what has been ordered and give us the ability to transmit the request either by email or fax to the GP surgery. Needed to be user friendly and simple to use.

Everything was completed according to the brief set out right at the beginning. We have now successfully launched our website and app.

Having the contact with my project manager Gaurav Jagarwal, i could ask him to amend or adjust the website and app according to my needs anytime via skype or email and it would get completed. The quick response from Gaurav ensure i could carry out my other daily tasks of running my other business and know the development was in safe hands. The team liaised with all the people required to get this project completed like speaking to the NHS developement guys to ensure we had all the correct APIs in place on our side.
