We are a UK based start up that have taken a shine to creating beautiful social networking applications. SocialMe is our first major application that has been designed to simplify the mobile Facebook experience, whilst incorporating clever features and gestures.
What was the scope of the project involved?
The project involved developing an application that combines the full Facebook and Twitter functionality into a single application, whilst fixing major errors from the original, basic code, from another company.

We have never worked with anyone like Dotsquares before; no developer or development company we have used has ever matched Dotsquares. Our developers were both extremely friendly, professional and more importantly simply amazing at what they did. They have produced what we think to be one of the best Social Networking applications ever released. At the end of everyday without fail they would send me an email/message in their Basecamp service letting me know what has been done on the application and each week they would provide a new build to test out! They were online on Skype all day and would instantly answer any questions we had and often helped us to find solutions to any problems we faced! We can't think of one negative thing to say about our experience with Dotsquares and would highly recommend them for any project!

Dotsquares gave an estimate of the time and worked very hard to meet this target which they did. They worked with us and developed exactly what we wanted and also adjusted it when it initially was rejected by Apple. They worked with us in helping us to understand what was required to make the apps work. They also worked with us through out giving us access to all that had been done for testing as the project progressed.
What do you value about Dotsquares?
I find that communication is a strong point and very much value the daily reports. The time difference works in our favour as at the end of the Indian working day there is time for us to test and report back before the end of our working day and the results are there in India for the start of their next day. Dotsquares understand our site well having worked on it a number of times. Their commitment to making it work for us is what we value.

Development of a custom database driven website using XHTML,Javascript and PHP. The developer had to code multi-page web forms with complex validation rules. The developer also delivered back end functionality to enable our administrator to create, modify and delete the static web pages and data stored in our configuration database tables.
How did Dotsquares meet your requirements?
Yes and we were very satisfied with Navnit's efforts. He did a great job. I would give him a score of 9.5 out of 10. He only lost half a mark because the project went over budget by around 4 weeks.
What do you value about Dotsquares?
Offshore development works and offers small businesses and start ups great value for money. The developer only option is an excellent way for IT literate clients to work directly with experienced staff at a good price. This was my first attempt at off-shoring and it won't be my last!
