Meta Quest 3
Meta Quest 3 is a VR headset model from Reality Labs, a division of Meta organisation. Meta Quest 3 is the third model in the Quest series and is all set to hit stores on 10 October 2023. It is now available for pre-order. A few months ago, Apple also released the headset device Apple Vision Pro.
With many performance enhancements and improved mixed reality experiences, Quest 3 also has a great design and high-resolution display. It has better graphics and a 110-degree field of view. The system of Quest 3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip and this device comes with the first six months of the Quest+VR free subscription.
Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses
Meta has partnered with the sunglasses brand Ray-Ban - and to take this collaboration further, Meta announced the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. With features like onboard voice assistant, 1080p/60 FPS, 12 MP camera, built-in speaker, and five mics for spatial audio, these sunglasses weigh from 48.6 to 50.8 grams.
RayBan Meta smart glasses can be used for many purposes such as video streaming, content sharing, video recording, etc. It will be available to buy from October 17, 2023. According to the announcement, these glasses have more than 150 design combos with colour, style, and lens choices.
Emu
At the Meta Connect event, the company announced a text-to-image generation model called Expressive Media Universe or Emu. It can generate images in five seconds. It is also adding generative AI stickers to Meta’s messaging apps which will allow users to create unique stickers within seconds.
It will be available for every Meta messaging app whether it is Messenger, WhatsApp, or Instagram. It also helps with image editing as AI solutions are included. It gives users the liberty to co-create photos with friends or transform them on their own. Moreover, Meta is also working to help users distinguish AI-generated images.
